I have curly hair and I need help.?

When my hair is wet I have pretty curls but when it dries I look like a frizz monster. Can anyone help me keep my curls curly, because I'm tired of the frizz monster. ? Let me know what products are good and affordable.

first of all i am not a beutician.. but i have had to tame the "fuzz monster" all my life..

here is what i do...

wash hair with loreal "curl vive" shampoo and cond

brush it while in the shower

make sure u brush out all the tangles then turn off the water

brush it one last time to seperate ur curls and squeeze the water out.. this is the last time u will brush it unitl u are again in the shower.. that is key!!! no more brushing it

put it in a towel for a while.. at least until it is damp not wet

take it down.. dont brush it or blow dry it

use finesse moose.. sorry for the spelling

u can use any level type.. as long at it is finnese.. it is very cheap but sometimes hard to find.. walgreens has it by me

now fill ur palm with moose.. this is for one side

and dab it everywhere, until it is mixed in evenly

scrunch,, dont pull or bruch in any way

do the same for the other side of hair

dont put too much on ur scalp or bangs/side of face

let it dry naturally

i like finnesse because it dries very natural

it dosnt feel like hay... and it dosn build up or make matts in ur hair.. it is a very unique product

u can also wait until ur hair is ALMOST dry and use finesse.. but u gotta scrunch..

sometimes i set it even more using rave pump hair spray.. but soetimes it makes the curls stiff if u use it when ur hair is wet.. this is only to be used to spruce it up.. or when ur hair is almost dry and u need it to curl a little more

I have curly hair too first after I get out of the shower I put Infusium 23 leave in conditioner ($5.00) in my hair- So Sexy hair gel from Victorias Secret ($9.50) while it is wet and then during the day I use Studio Line Pumping Girls $(3.00) to touch it up.

I have this same problem. The most beautiful thick corkscrew curls in the world, (when they are wet) I have to load them down with so much goo to keep them in order. NO GEL (makes them crispy crunchy) Stick to a mousse (herbal essences makes one that works good. Also use a leave in condtioner or something like a "balm" or "glue" (for hair product.) Experiment.

I use 4 John Frieda products that help me. They are: Frizz-Ease Straight ahead shampoo, conditioner, Hair serum %26amp; down play. they are reasonably priced and readely available. Wal-Mart has the best prices in my area.

Paul Mitchell makes great products for these things. they hava a straightening serum and they also have various products to keep curls - they have sculpting foam. this helps reduce the frizz. I would also suggest that you use good conditioners with protein and moisture complexes. This will help reduce the frizz so that you don't dry your hair out with the foam from constant use.

use dove products there are great... i have the same problem and tried avery mouse and live it hard or sticky... but now im using dove mousse and hairspray and there working great!! and they smell great!!!!!!!
