How do i get curly hair? My hair doesn't like curlers!?

i want to curl hair tomorrow for my friends 15th birthday party but my hair doesnt like curlers. it stays curly for ten minutes then it turns wavey even with hairspray! i want something fast and easy can anyone help?

If you want to save time and $$$

1- wash hair and then towl until slightly moist (not sopping wet)

2-then put in EZcurlz hair spray and scrunch you hair around and let your hair dry out more

3-get a curling iron and take random sized clumps of hair and curl them

4-once you have done them all thel let you hair cool off for a while (2-3 min)

5-then run your fingers thourh you hair loosening the tight curls untill they are a curly/wavy as you want

6-thes add more EZcurlz to hold your hair like that.

You might think of using smaller curlers (leave the big ones out). But, using a curling iron at the long angle to your head will improve the curl and volume. In other words, you can take the curler (I would use 1 inch or less for the barrel) up to the root, but take it out at the angle that is about 90 degrees to the way it comes out of the root. In other words, the curler tip is going to be at the top of your head and the handle at your chin. It should be vertical, not horizontal. And be careful about putting too much hair on the barrel in the first place. You will end up with long twisting curls and give a better volume. Ultimately though, you may want to think about a perm or coloring. It will damage the hair enough to keep the curl better. And leave out the hairspray, use a spritz instead. It sounds like it is just weighing down your hair. You could also use a light gel before your dry instead, or a lightweight volumizing mouse. But put it in when your hair is damp, not soaking wet. If you are in a humid climate (which is pretty much all of the eastern side of the USA currently) do not use conditioner. Use a detangler if absolutely necessary, but only on the tips. Do not touch the roots. You can also use a volumizing shampoo. It might help.
